The wind howls and breaks the silence,

Something lurks and waits for vengeance.

The death of its family, so sad it is,

It all happened in an instant whiz.

Beady eyes stalk its prey,

Grass glistens in the moonlight as it sways.

Trees reach high up to the moon,

Chilling breezes of the month of June.

Eyes glittering with fury,

He avenges his family truly.

A chilling shriek of agony...A howl of aching pain echoes,

He pays a large price,

Shown is a gruelling deep red slice.

Pain is all the lone dingo can feel,

He can’t even get up to consume his meal.

Would he die like the rest of his pack,

He lies so solemnly, his bravery begins to crack.

A tear rolls down his blood stained fur,

And drops onto the mossy still floor,

He finally realises he has nothing left to fight for.
