Phascolarctos cinereus
By Abby W
Sharp claws clinging to a tree,
the smell of gum leaves fills the air,
soft grey fur,
munching, crunching,
hollers loud in the night,
hides mostly out of sight,
soon, soon, if we don't act now,
we'll lose this being, and you know how.
