People think I’m cute 

Loving as they think

A lot of negative impacts make me threatened

Threatened habitat, threatened life

You have shaped my life, you have made me live hard

Platypus is me, an endangered species

Usage of disruptive machinery

Smoke enters my throat

Endangered I am, lonely with friends of mine gone

Species of mine is almost gone

In the polluted waters of death

Narrowing the existence of me

Rights of mines are lost

I’ve found them, but they’re with you

Visitors visit me each day but throw me a gift

Encouragement I need

Rescue me please
