Poem about my Dog
My dog’s name is Skeeta
And he was made in Melton
Taught to hunt prey just like his elders
The shape of him reminds me of a barrel
His colour is dark and dirty.
The dog’s height and width is short and wide
And its purpose is to hunt eat sleep.
He has short hair and is warm
And has created lots of memories.
Like when we went to pick him up from Melton
And then when he broke into the dog food and couldn’t walk more than 200m
I remember when he ran away and someone tried to claim him and my heart almost broke
When I smell him he smells like the earth.
He sounds obnoxious when I hear him bark
When he is seen he looks like a shaggy jacket
He feels like a warm rug
And most people imagine him tasting meaty
