Portal to Safety

Sapphire liquid creasing quietly,

Amber sphere descending slowly.

Sun rays shoot out like spotlights,

Engulfing me in its warmth.

Waves drag me closer,

Glitter sprinkles the endless cerulean sea.

Chills hit me and drown me,

Ocean swirling around my curves.

Laps of water start withering,

Amber light begins shutting out.

Sounds of water clapping faintly,

The atmosphere surrounding me is surreal.

Shadows overlap the night,

Stars cascade the blanket of black.
