Hear the patter of the rain atop the canopy,
Water falls, the ground rushes to meet.
The ashen clouds, gently weep,
into the ground they gently seep.

The crystal droplets caress the earth,
in the depths of the hollow, bees nestle together,
within the hive, the warmth of the hearth,
their honey, soon to be sweeter than ever.

For the rain brings life and new beginnings,
to every flower, every seed, it never stops giving.
The birds feel the heavy air and rejoice as they sing,
as do the other creatures, they know what rain brings.
But remember, what caused all this?
A few heavy clouds, above the forest.
