Rain

A droplet of water

Oh, so filled with wonder

The many places it gets to see

But in a matter of seconds, POOF!

Its life ends and another begins

Who knew a droplet of water could contain the power to control life

As it is the very thing that replenishes our souls

The very thing that keeps us alive

What would we and other animals do without rain?

It is the very thing we cling onto for survival 

Rain is what fills the oceans, lakes, rivers and ponds with life

It is the very thing that creates homes for the animals

It is the very thing that helps plants and trees grow

The very thing that creates shelter for the animals 

It is the thing that promotes growth for all life

And though it can be annoying, it is something we should be grateful for
