It glimmers in the sun like a pinch of fairy dust;
a sweet reminder of the fun times we have.
It holds my wrist like a warm soothing hug;
just like how we say goodbye.
Our friendship is like this knotted chain,
entwined with the presence of your joy;
each link a remembrance of our past to present.
This small token, I am appreciative of,
