Riding on Nature

As I'm riding my bike on the path

I speed up and gain a constant pace

When I look up, a gust of wind hits my face

Nature waves at me as I look around

So I wave back as a strong minty smell hits my nose

As I'm riding along the path, I'm getting close 

To the waterside that I had imagined

I start to float into the sky 

I have become as light as the clouds

As I arrive, I start to drop onto the ground

I fall till I’m picked up by the wind

Then see the place that was in my dream

The clear and beautiful river in my sight

I had nothing to lose so I dived in with a ‘PLOP’

Then I start to swim and splash 

As the fish pick me up and throw me back

I think of how this adventure I went on 

Changed my life in a big way

As I connect with nature and its surroundings 

Nature connects with me
