Rising Tides

My body riding the wave of terror,

My heart racing like the thunderous crash of the waves,

My head leaping from one thought to another one,

This tsunami,

Engraved in my heart,

The one that surrendered to a force of nature, 

The one that cried in boundless water,

The one you stole from my soul, 

I will forever remember the lives you controlled, 

No mercy will be granted,

Until you give back what you stole,

Ears drowning in the sound of the water's flow,

Within every distant quake, 

A dark wave flows,

In the stream,

Where one was left to never be seen
