River Visit

I listened to the flowing river - so calm, so quiet

The rough rocks in my hand - the mud on my shoes

Water running through my legs

Centipedes walking towards me

Natural plant smell whisked in the air

I could smell that mint as people moved the plant

Enthusiastic students run along the riverbank

Climbing in the trees and on the mountain

Happy birds chirp away

The patterns in the river lying there

Flowing all day long
