Save Our Earth

Deforestation is quite the bad temptation

When a capitalist sees a tree

That is growing in glee

They say “Hey, come take it down with me!”

Happiness devolves into sadness

As we strip Earth of all its liveliness

An activist starts a protest:

“Give Earth all its clothes back!

Our picturesque marine life

Soon will have no life

We buy flowers from a florist

They’re from our dying forest

A cow should not bow

A sheep should leap

And we should not keep

The leaves that they eat!”

In an alternate reality,

Everything’s made sustainably

Their Earth hasn’t been failed

So all of humanity prevailed
