School Captain Badge

From the moment I first received it,
I couldn’t stop looking at it
Everything about it, from the colour to the gold description,
School captain catches my eye.
For the past 3 terms,
I’ve worn it with pride.
It means so much to me,
The badge itself is replaceable,
But to lose it would make me feel
Like I lost what it represents.
The day the principal pinned it on me,
Everyone clapped and cheered.
My badge is special to me.
It has become a big part of me
I’ll wear it for this year and treasure it forever.
