Autumn leaves fall like sunlight in the afternoon,

Sunlight that covers the green grass and leaves,

Like a blanket.

Winter snow sucking the life from the ground,

Forcing the trees into a bare skeleton,

The perfect canvas for the hunted animals' blood.

Spring warmth rush over the campers,

Their hands sweating as they fish from the creek,

Campfires providing for the night,

Flames licking the roots of the trees.

Summer heat brings rushing families,

Skipped stones,

S'mores,

Smiles,

The summer heat brings the tree roots alight,

The summer heat brings the tree branches ablaze,

The summer heat sends the families away,

The summer heat brings the summer to an end.
