Seasons

Summer - warm, sunny, full of life,
Butterflies twist and turn, dancing in the warm summer light,
Glistening, glowing, gliding beautiful bees cherish the light.
Autumn - trees, tall with golden leaves as orange as daylilies,
Falling leaves in the last summer light gliding gracefully,
Sleeping peacefully, palomino rabbits awaiting the lively light.
Winter - frozen, cold creeping up on its prey,
Silent winds whispering their warnings,
Short snowy days, and wet wishful nights hoping to survive,
Wind blowing boulders banging through the night crash! bang! boom!
Finally spring creeps carefully, ending winter's ruthless reign.
Spring - warm, wonderful beloved and beautiful, gentle, graceful, glorious.
Blooming banksias bursting with beautiful colours,
Days of delightful sun soaring splendidly,
With sunsets of pink, yellow and orange lighting up the sky with colours,
As the seasons change the beauty never dies.
So cherish the light.
