Shoes

A pointe shoes journey is like no other
They carry us on stage without a bother
They are created beautiful by they're hard working maker
Only to be somewhat destroyed a short time later
They're life expectancy may not be very long
But the time they're alive they are only strong
Moving with our feet whom are moving with our heart
Dancing with my pointe shoes is truly an art
They're beauty and shine is only a disguise
For the pain they create, oblivious to the eyes
But no matter how much agony they put me through
The pointe shoe will still forever be my favourite shoe
