Our earth, blue and green
Forests and plants used to be clean
Water, air and life, our planet gives
It is where we humans live
Our tinted windows opened to endless plains
Refreshing, cold air hitting our veins
Sprinkles of water nurturing our plants
To catch growth we intensely glance
Though we rapidly sadly lost this love and devotion
We shifted to cars and tech motions
We damaged our air, chemically it smells
We cast our selfish spells
Our developing economy ignobly decided
It was best for us, selfishly we sided
Mother Nature gave us a duty to fulfil
Instead, we were sinister, left our world dying and still
But we can save our flora and fauna, bury our crimes
We can breathe clean air but we don’t have much time
We need no plastic bags or cars blowing fumes
Every action counts, to stop the shrivels and encourage the blooms
