My fish of silver scales
rests in my palm,
it is and always will be my talisman.
Passed down through generation,
from nation to nation,
and now here it lies,
with the same blank expression.

Till this day
it has been my source of good luck,
I have carried it from cradle to nook,
It has given me courage when thunder struck.

Its silver reminds me of my home,
my heritage and the tricolour,
green, white and gold.
It houses childhood memories,
When I am down it shows them to me.

It is an optimistic toy
for a pessimistic boy,
it is and forever will be
the Pisces that looks after me.
