As my feet slip into the deep dark beige coloured holes
Early in the morning,
My whole body feels warm and my worries disappear before my eyes.
From homework to chores nothing can stand in my way,
When padding around the house is a dream.
With shoes as soft and fluffy as a rabbit’s tail,
The cold tiles can never get to my toes.
Without them the cold mornings would get to me,
And I would dread to wake up.
