The small purple pea emerges,

A beautiful burst of vibrant violet.

The tranquil breeze flutters around,

The country unaware

The sky filled with ash,

Without a warning,

Sparks roaring,

Fire forming an immortal wall

A distant crash,

Animals dash,

Trees collapsing in a flash

The siren blaring,

Water splashing

The soil sucked dry,

The forest’s silent cry,

The sky a dull grey

The breeze no longer blew,

The birds no longer flew,

The small purple pea,

All alone.
