Soft growls arise from the cub.

Hungry for food.

Mama Sunda Tiger wraps her tail around her baby, before arising to hunt for food.

Many animals quiver when they see her awake.

But they understand.

Predator, and prey.

Circle of life, after all.

Mama races across the Sunda Islands, fatigued, but nonetheless empowered.

Mama will do anything for her cub.

Even if it means risking death.

And death was indeed risked.

Man watches from afar, waiting to strike on her.

Imitating Mama's movements.

Bang!

Death was risked, and death occurred.

A bleeding Sunda Mama, carried by the man.

And a lonely Sunda cub.

Waiting for Mama to return.

Circle of life, after all.
