Soon We Will All Be Gone

We have been around for millennia but we are starting to die down.
The amount of times the wind has howled against us making our leaves fly like beautiful birds.
We are home to lots of creatures big and small from ants to monkeys.
Lately, I’ve been feeling sick, sick in a type of way of coughing and sneezing like a cold. 
But this is a deadly cold that lots of my brothers, sisters and cousins have died of.
Hopefully I’ll be fine. I’ll be fine because it’s getting warmer.
This type of sickness is to do with something called pollution,
I don’t know what it is but it’s deadly.
Soon I won’t be here. 
My neighbour was killed by those things on the ground, they brutally cut her down.
I heard them saying, "This one tomorrow!"
They were pointing at me.

Soon we will all be gone.
