Southern Brown Bandicoot

The Brown Bandicoot is from the south,

It has brown fur and a small little mouth.

They live in the desert where the land is dry,

And scurry in the bush where the insects lie.

It has round ears and a pointy snout,

They don’t need lots of water since they live in a drought.

It is around 28-36 centimetres in size,

It has a small face and very tiny eyes.

They are marsupials who have a pouch if they’re mothers,

They can also have many sisters and brothers.

The Southern Brown Bandicoot lives in Australia,

One day its population could be a failure.

Sadly the Bandicoot is endangered,

We need to stop chopping trees or I’ll be angered.
