Through shadow and darkness
Shone a white stone
Engraved with unknown
Words on it
As she lay there alone

I wanted to talk to you
You left me alone
I call out your name
But you never respond

You left me here
And showed me in
Darkness there is light
How you made me feel
Like you were here when you weren’t

How you would kiss me goodnight
How you made me feel joyful
In my darkest days
And show me in shadow
Nothing is lost
Because you’re by my side

But days don't always last
They all turn to nights
But you never left
Please
Stay by my side
I asked you non stop but you said in these words
“You can't bring back what is lost
I will never truly be here but I will in your heart.”
You said as you went to your stone

And I lay down in bed and had wonderful
