Waves run up the sandy shore,
Thumping pounding they sing they roar,
Bullets of rain shoot the swell,
Cresting waves look like hell,
Nature’s cadence strong and fierce,
Mother’s fury, her tears pierce.

Her temper tamed,
Her brood improved,
The torrent gone,
The threat removed.

Warm sand squashed between my toes,
Cool crystal water always flows,
Ionized air,
Whipping my hair,
As screeching seagulls flap their wings,
Love and happiness it always brings.
