Sunda island tiger

Tiger is one of the coolest animals of them all, 

but the most endangered is the Saunda Island tiger. 

They relax on the forest floor, 

lazily lying in the scorching sun, begging the hunters that they do not come. 

The hunters slowly, creeping closer like a lion hunting for its prey and then…

BANG, BANG, BANG. 

There, lying in the fire-heated sun, a tiger but not any old tiger, a Saunder Island tiger. 

The trees whispered to the hunters, “What have you done”.  The fur of the tiger now, to become a blanket.
