Surfing

The waves crashing on the sand
Beneath my sinking feet
My board underneath my hand
As the tide pulls me in
The wave barrels over me
As I try to ride the bend
The water is crystal clear
I hope there is no end
I wait
And wait
Until there is a wave
The wave took its time
I look out at the ocean
The horizon
So bright it warms my heart
I am too carried away by the brightness of the sun setting on the horizon
So beautiful
