Taking time

Noticing the sun as it shines

Showcasing the garden

Here and now the morning sun shines for them

my peace lilies

carefully tended the other day

separated from their mother

Planted, spaced about.

A few hours of morning glory

Watching as the sun descends 

At different times

contrasting spaces

day and night 

Sun and moon

Deep shade or dappled light through branching trees.

Seeing as I've never seen before

the white majestic lily

unraveling enormous fronds

resilient, tucked away for years

amongst the forest growth 

Finally birthed.
