Tasmanian devil

Scurrying through the cascading night
Ghostly growls haunting the calm air
Teeth sharp as a knife filling you with fright
Dark fur of dim darkness.
Running, trotting, trying to escape the hallucinating infections
Tearing us apart, vanishing at vast
Few numbers, no one left
Disappearance remaining unanswered
Agony and pain leaving us empty
Mealiness and deserted, the words that describe our pity
Emotion of suffering, nothing else
Loneliness, nothing but myself
Broken, what shall we do
When there is zero sight of us at all
When we look up, we don’t look up to you
We look up with the despair that is still left in our life view
Help save us
Help cure us
