Roaming for their prey

they hear the creatures through the day.

They meander through the plain,

could they seek their gain?

In Tasmania’s wild, so dangerous and deep,

The devil roams while others sleep.

With fierce growls and a daring might,

It prowls the forest in the night.

In shadows deep, its legend thrives,

A symbol of strength and wild lives.

As they wander the terrain,

Praying they don’t get caught on a chain.

So cherish this beast, so bold and free,

In Tasmania’s heart, let it be.
