Teddy

It’s soft, pink and fluffy.
It has sewn on flowers
ranging from roses to
wildflower to lavender.
It’s about the length of a dinner plate
and the width of a size 8 shoe.
Covered in dust because
of the years sitting on the mantelpiece.
The smell of baby powder it once had is
long gone, leaving a smell of nothing.
