My teddy bear, best friend extraordinaire.
Despite the obnoxious narcissism of my youth,
I found something that made me care
In spite of the wear and tear.

There she was, just sitting there, you see
I couldn’t stop the excitement rushing through me
Despite me being a nervous, obnoxious nuisance
I knew it was meant to be.

See, I had been lonely for so long;
I had no idea what I was doing wrong.
I tried and tried and then tried again but
I just couldn’t seem to get along.

Despite all of my troubles I knew
There was always someone there to help me through -
Through, thick and thin she was her sympathetic self;
Even when I was feeling blue.

No-one could have the connection which we bare.
We have even shared food together. It was an eclair
I remember. All I have to say thank you, to
My Teddy Bear; best friend extraordinaire.
