When I was born my Aunty’s friend gave me you.
You were soft
You were fluffy
You were my best friend
I remember the days when we were young we'd play all day and when the day was done we would sleep the night away together.
If you could talk, I'd hear you speak and you would say…

I may smell like dust until washed
I may sound like an old creaky house
I may look like an old used ball
I may feel like a fluffy ball of fluff
And I taste like an old piece of cheese

With lots of sweat and tears I was made just for you, with stitches I was made and with patches too
I was made for you and you loved me

I may be small, short and light
