The Adorable Koala

The koala slowly and quietly climbs up the rustling gum tree 

l watch the koala climb up the tree in my backyard 

while my cup of hot chocolate cools down. 

I sit down on a bench outside, 

l see the grey and white koala 

as l breathe in 

and smell the lovely gum trees.
