The Ale Warmer

The Ale Warmer over the fire
1917 England
Quite bumpy and quite lumpy and quite stumpy.

It is made of copper
Very cold as cold as snow
And shiny like a diamond when held to the light.

The smell of it is quite yuck

They pour the ale into my tummy
It is very hot, ow, ow….too hot.

Im bubbling, bubbling
It tickles under there on my belly
Take me off already. Too hot…..Im ready.

Off the stove
Starts to drink
Moustache tickles…………hehe.
