The Beach

What a perfect day to go to the beach,

As the sun smiles on my face.

The brilliant breeze dancing with me,

Bringing me to my happy place.

The soft shiny sand massaging my feet,

Walking along a sandy track perfectly paved.

Chirp, chirp, as the seagulls sing,

Today looks like the seagulls are well behaved.

The waves were calling my name,

As loud as a roaring lion.

Crash, crash, as the waves play with me,

Landing on the sand like a field of dandelions.

Things can’t get any better,

Life’s a beach.

I wish this delightful day would never end,

You’re as loved as my best friend.

Watching the sunset was a magical moment,

As it wraps me in its warm embrace.

I’m heartbroken to leave this perfect place,

But fear not, as I will come back another day.
