The Beach

The beach;

A sandy stretch of shores,

Waves reaching for the sand,

Birds piercing the skin of the ocean,

Waves stretching for the azure sky.

Sandcastles dispersed on the beach,

Sea urchins lurking in the dark,

Cool oceans refresh my skin,

Gusts of wind, pelting sand.

Ripples on the sea’s surface,

Acrobatic dolphins flipping and jumping,

Swimming schools of fish in the depths,

The beach, a wonderful piece of God’s creation.
