The Beach is my home

As a big blue blanket glistens on a hot summer day, 

the ocean freezes and it's so still that it looks

like a big blue sheet of glass on the calm ocean bed.

The sand is as hot as a boiling pot of water. 

The crabs can't stand the boiling sandpaper and they 

run as fast as they can just to get to the water.

The seagulls swoop down to snatch jumping fish for

Their first meal of the day. Families laugh and chat

all day, hundreds of umbrellas, and people trying 

to escape the scorching sun.

The fish glide throw the calm shallow water and 

jump out of the water terrified as soon as 

they see people they get frightened and you might

not even notice them but let me tell you that they are there
