No matter the time, come rain or shine.
In the wild, nature satiates my hunger.

Nuts all shapes and sizes,
shrivels my lips with its salt.

Warm and bitter emerald matcha tea calms my heart.

My cheeks pucker.
From the sour punch of calamansi.

Sweet berries,
red, blue, and purple paint my teeth.

A fiery heat ignites in my throat.
As a dollop of wasabi root goes down.

My nostrils fill with the savoury scent of sprinkled sage

Slimy seaweed covers my hands,
with its umami taste.

The feast. All presented,
on a banana leaf plate.
Cooked by the beautiful bush.
