THE BEAUTIFUL SEASON OF SPRING

From the gloominess you emerge and shine
You lighten up the start of my day
The beautiful singing birds wake me up early
As I walk through the garden I see all sorts of colours
Orange, red, yellow and pink
Four of the most pretty looking colours in this very season
This spring vibe makes me want to go to the beach
Little children making sand castles
Writing their names in the sand using sticks
The verdant green grass looks so inviting that
It makes me long for a picnic on the grass
You’re like a potion that magically makes the grass shoot up
Longer and warmer the days are
It makes me want to stay outdoors longer, and
Late evening strolls by the seaside
Because of you, I get to see the beautiful evening sky
The Golden Hour forming the tricolours in the sky
Oh spring, you just make everything better in life for everyone
I’ve been longing for these days of joy, and
I wish you stay forever and ever and ever…
