The wilderness calls out to me,
Leaving my mind joyful and grand.
The desert uncovers the lies for me to see,
Showing truth beneath the blanket of sand.

I walk out into the open,
Leaving myself exposed to nature’s rage.
This anger has occurred again,
Nature’s full might all contained in a cage.

The tranquility of the ocean,
The openness of place.
Nature’s beauty fills me with emotion,
But the full wonder lies in the amount of space.

Nature, my second home,
It’s where I go when I’m alone.
