The Black-Flanked Rock-Wallaby

The rough rocks in central Western Australia
are the key to the Rock Wallaby's survival.
The Rock Wallaby calmly and quietly hovers over the big thick rocks.
As l watch, the sun's rays shine down on my face outside my window.
The rock wallaby jumps from the lowest rock to the tallest rock.
It delicately hops up into the air
like a fluttering butterfly
floating and soaring through the sky.
The rock wallaby is small and only comes out at dusk to eat.
