The Black Panther

The black panther as dark as the night sky, 

waits quietly in the African jungle until it… 

STRIKES

It runs 50 miles per hour, 

as it tries to catch its prey. 

The deer runs, 

but it was never going to outrun the black panther. 

The black panther jumps as high as a grasshopper,

pounces on the deer,

stabs it in the throat, 

DEAD

The black panther brings it into the forest so it can eat peacefully. 

It climbs a tree and rests for tomorrow.
