I love the bush. I see three eagles overhead,
I’m surrounded by ferns and paths that go deep into the bush.
Feathers flapping and flying over miles and miles
Hands and toes scrape brown soil with hard rocks
The heartbeat of trees thumps in my veins
The leaves flying around me and brushing my skin
I see a little river rich with clear water and sparkling fish
The roots curl under the soil in long strands
The breeze whips my hair
Old grandmother and grandfather trees keeping this special forest alive
The greatest treasure in this forest is not the shining pieces of gold under the earth, it is the love our ancestors have given to the trees
The earth's music fills my ears and brain filling it with a soft fog
I hear the wonderful sounds of the forest welcoming me into their arms
I walk back past the river and see a leaf on the clear blue water,
sinking, sinking, sinking
