The Bushfire

The massive monster devoured the forest,
Ruby reds and bright oranges it showed in late August.
Its ferocious flames tortured the land,
The one that needed warriors to give them a hand.
Like the leader of a group the sun rewarded the fire more and more,
Together they made the food disappear and robbed the animals, now they were poor.
The trees were burned and turned to ash,
The firefighters needed to come, everything was falling with a ‘CRASH!’
Koalas in need, they couldn’t sit now that the trees were gone or bare,
With everything being destroyed they got quite a scare.
The fire grew and swallowed everything up,
The ground pleaded for water like a beggar with their money cup.
Kookaburras cried in fear of the fatal fire,
A bird screamed out a cry that meant danger, yes the bird called lyre.
The crackling flames spread out far and wide,
Try to leave but you just can’t hide.
The animals scream not staying silent,
The fire is coming and is super violent.
A wicked war between fire and nature,
The firefighter’s role here is major.
