The Creek at the Brink of Extinction

'Calm, cool and creek' the creek calls coolly,  
 The creek is oh, beating of heart.  
 Thou do not see she is shrieking in pain for thee. 
 The creek is murky, brown, 
 Endless like the sky and a hole of dirt.  
 The wonderful creek of the Wurundjeri pours, 
 She wants to break free of thou sea.  
 She wants to flood to all.
