the crystal cave

As the crystallised straw fell it shattered and made millions of shining gems of its own, the crystallised straw shattered like a bone shattering. The crystallised straw shards slide, dive from the path into the holes in the flooring. As it dives into the hole landing on the crystals, leaving its place for a new straw to slowly grow and take its place in the cave. While the crystal shatters a golden droplet slides in, shining as if it’s a gleaming sun. As it gleams over the crystal it slowly starts to crystalize 1cm every 40 years over time, while more golden droplets fall in, slowly making a new straw until it falls for a new one to grow slowly, making holes in the ground as more straws fall over time.
