The Devil

The devil that lives down under,
Out in the Aussie bush.
Its teeth bite down in flesh,
As it turns its prey to mush.

With a bite force of 94 pounds,
The Tasmanian Devil will maul, if you're in its way.
They're not like other Aussie animals,
The devil isn't cute, nor cuddly, any day.

Though these amazing creatures are threatened,
Humans are cutting down their habitat.
Naturally they live in Tasmania's bush,
Not anymore, but on top of that...

A terrible disease is going around,
DFTD is what it's called.
Many Tassie Devils have died from this,
With only 25,000 left in the wild.
