The Drink Of Nevahad

Once there was a man in Scotland
Who was very strong
He loved to go from pub to pub
Drinking all day long
But one pub particularly
Caught him off by far
And that was when he knew that
He should have left that bar
He burst through the door and
Rushed towards the counter
he said ‘give me the toughest rum on the menu
I need so desperately by the hour’
The bartender hand him a drink
Closed his eyes and said
Those who normally drink the drink
Always end up dead
Despite what he said
The man chugged anyway
And his thoughts and muscles
Began to fade away
He witnessed his old work boss
Playing a screaming guitar
Words echoed in his mind
You should have left that bar
The room transformed into a
Void of nothing
He was troubled where to walk
Until he noticed something
His vision became twisted
The end seemed like nigh
He lost all his sanity
Those who drink the drink will die
The next day, he woke up
In a hospital bed
The nurses weren’t aggressive
They were worried instead
You’re the 1st man to survive
The drink of nevahad
He is still proud of his title today
And I’m proud to call him my dad
