In a matter of a minute
everything changed.
Tears flowing down my face
like a never-ending waterfall.
I refused to believe it.
I didn't sleep that night.
I just sat awake in disbelief and frustration.
thinking why her? Why did this happen?
She was gone.
My nan, partner in crime and my best friend.
I remember how every soul in Belfast walked the street the day of the funeral, the majority in tears, disbelief and sorrow.
I helped my dad, cousins, uncles and aunty bury our dear Anne Halligan.
I will always love her.
Not a day goes past that I don't miss her.
